TEAM MEMBER COMMENTS

As you reflect back on your experience with the MAGUS Team Coaching program, what was the high point for you?

  • Hearing the various stories; “foundation of the individuals—learning the individuals’ make-up”
  • One-on-one coaching to get guidance on approaches
  • Group discussions, specifically stories each person shared—it was AHA!
  • Learning about colleagues’ SCARF & TAIS scores

Moving forward, what obstacles, if any, are likely to prevent you from applying the skills you have learned in this coaching program?

  • If I use a model that was previously used during the training (i.e. fierce conversations) and the leader not receive or be receptive to the conversation
  • Not practicing models, workload, not checking in with each other and making assumptions, not increasing my awareness around others
  • Not sure of how others will react to feedback or conversation if using fierce conversation model

Provide an example where you have observed an improvement in your team’s ability to work together.

  • Sharing of ideas – collaborating on things better
  • Sharing information
  • Communicating about schedules and personal and work demands
  • A true teamwork environment exists now
  • Planning/duties as one

Anything else?

  • Length of time of the program: 1x per every three weeks, 1 hour coaching in between. This was beneficial to allow practice time, reading & processing. A three day seminar is not conducive to long term change
